On Saturday, August 9, 2008, Epiphany Designs had the privilege to participate for the second year in this amazing event for the benefit of the homeless held at Henry Buhl’s house in Southampton. We donated an 18k Gold Sapphire bracelet with Diamonds for the silent auction. This unique and carefully handcrafted piece was designed by Ivi Navarrete. The party was very well attended by several hundred people; it was my pleasure to meet Cathy Brentzel, Alexander Harris, Julie Harvey, Razi Karim etc.

As always, you expected glamour, and were not disappointed.  The festivities were held under a magnificent tent transformed by a sunflowers theme and decorated with hundreds of sunflower arrangements and bouquets.  A fabulous setting for the many beautiful silent auction items on display that kept everyone busy and bidding through the evening.

 

The music was spectacular.  We danced past midnight.  The food was fabulous – shrimp cocktail, raw bar, and delicious hors d’oeuvres – and summer lobster and barbequed chicken with sweet corn made for the perfect summer seashore dinner, and made this party one of my favorites of the year!!
